LEARNING FOR USE - EXPEDITING LEARNING

LfU -- Learning for Use is a strategy that can be implemented in instruction to develop learning through authentic science.  The LfU modal consists of 3 basic parts -- Motivation, Knowledge Construction, and Knowledge Organization.

Start the learning process with the suggested activities of motivation, stakeholders, constraints, and considerations.  After doing these initial activities, the knowledge construction can begin.

The learner should understand, "What do I need to learn to know more about this?"  (knowledge construction)
