As I think about where I have been and where I want to be, I have begun thinking about the impact that I have had on my students. I believe that there is more that I can do and perhaps that is to reach out to teachers, guiding them or facilitating their transition from education to the classroom.

I believe that education is not only guiding young students in
a classroom, but becoming more aware that teachers should
begin furthering their education early in their careers—learn
more about learning theories, know how to gauge the progress
of their students through varied assessments, implement more
problem based learning within their classrooms, learn to implement technology tools within their classrooms, and most important learn
more about themselves, their own pedagogies, and their individual
strengths and weaknesses.
